I have a zit the size of China on my chin right now. (And just in case you were born yesterday, China is a BIG country!) I haven't had a zit like this for SOOOO long. I think I'll blame it on Rylee and her "rebellion" (see prior post), but whatever the cause I seriously need to get rid of it!
You know when you have a zit that you want to just squeeze and have some big ol' head pop out like a Jack-In-The-Box and hit the mirror? That is what I want to have happen, but it just isn't. It just hurts! I feel like I am fourteen again! What is the deal?
So here is my question: Anyone got any tried and true zit remover solutions? (No, do not think I am trying Windex!) I have tried lemon juice, which usually works for me, but not this time. This is a stubborn bugger. HELP! I need a solution - quick! I don't have enough make-up to cover up China much longer!

I am lauhging SO hard right now b/c I was just complainging to Greg about that same thing (except my HUGE zit is on my cheek) and then again to my sis-inlaw today!! :) :) I mean how old are we?! Shouldn't we NOT be getting zits like this anymore. :) I will be checking back to read remedies that people give you. Oh, what about tooth paste? I tried that last night...didn't work for me, but maybe you'll have better luck. :)
I have always used straight Hydrogen Peroxide or Clearasil Acne Treatment Cream. Be sure if you buy the Clearasil that you don't buy generic. This is the strongest product with Benzoyl Peroxide you can get over the counter.
I hear that a little dog saliva, vinegar and brown sugar mixed into a paste draws it all out. ROFL!
I don't get zits...I wouldn't know.

Okay so yeah I WISH I could say I haven't had one of those babys in awhile but I break out Twice a month due to my good old friend that visits monthly so anyways...here's a few helpers.
Toothpaste-good one Jamie that's the first thing I thought of.
Steam...Boil hot water and put your face over it with a towel for as long as you can stand it-this is really good for your pores anyways and you should do this anyways weekly or monthly. NO I don't do this that often but I want to.
Face mask...same kind of effect as tootpaste but you don't feel as gross. Just put some of the mask stuff on when you go to bed. It has a great drying effect.
Okay and I don't know if I can say hi to Blackeyed Sue girl anymore if she doesn't get zits....WHAT THE HECK?
Hil I just love you!!! I have huge craters all the time. Why am I the grease monkey of the family?!!! Your kids are hilarious. I love the post on Rylee and her attitude toward you. Advice #1: Rubbing alcohol. Forget lemon juice...you are not making a salad. Alcohol baby. Sterilize a needle, pop the zit, and dab a wet with alcohol q-tip on it.
Advice #2: Post-it note. Frankly the post-it note is not as noticeable as the zit. That's what I used to use here at work. People laughed, but I didn't care.
I had one of those babies on my cheek last fall-if I look closely...I can still see the scar :(. I read somewhere to use honey. It has healing properties for many things (sore throat). Just put your hair back (duh for me). It will make your hair sticky...
When do the zits stop? I have them infrequently, but when I do get them I feel silly being a 39-year-old "teen". :)
You want to get anything that has the maximum percentage of Benzoyl Peroxide because that is what dries it out, after applying make sure to wash your hands really well with soap and water and let it dry on your face really well because the B.P is like a bleach and can leave bleach stains on towels, PJ's, pillowcases, etc.
Tea tree oil. my girls and I use it all the time. It smells wierd but usually it works Pretty good.
I have a few doozies too. Only mine are on either side of my neck. I look like some kind of female frankenstine or something.
No fair Blackeyedsue not ever having this problem. I know I'm older than you. I should have out grown it first dont you think?
